We are constrained to respond to an epistle by one Sampson Sampson which sought to denigrate the person and office of Mr. Ini Ememobong, the Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party.

From the tone and language of the publication, it is clear that the author is Chief Godswill Akpabio. Why Akpabio lacks the courage to own up to the publication speaks volumes about his flawed character. After his defeat at the polls by Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong, outgoing Senator Godswill has been lamenting and blaming everybody but himself. He has attributed his defeat at the polls to a conspiracy by leaders of his Party such as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Hon Rotimi Amaechi. He has blamed the Akwa Ibom State INEC REC. Mr. Mike Igini and made several baseless and wild allegations.

Expectedly. Mr. Sampson (read Senator Akpabio) claims that Mr. Ememobong came to limelight through Akpabio’s benevolence. Sen. Akpabio and his wife have never stopped boasting that they made everybody in Akwa Ibom State. Akpabio ceaselessly seeks glory and adulation. He competes with the Almighty God for glory, adulation and worship. Anybody who had the honor and privilege to SERVE THE STATE when Akpabio was Governor is always reminded that he came from the gutters.

Akpabio not only plays god; he is loud, lousy and noisy forever seeking attention and validation because of insecurity. Are other Governors like Fashola who served at the same time with Akpabio boasting about their achievements and denigrating those who served in their administrations? Indeed the bottom line is that Akpabio lacks class. We have had other former Governors in this State. Has anybody ever heard former Governor Victor Attah boast about bringing anybody to the limelight just because the person SERVED THE STATE during his tenure? Has Attah ever boasted that he brought Godswill Akpabio and others who served under him from obscurity to limelight? Attah will never go so low because he is God-fearing and has class and proper upbringing. As Governor, Attah treated all those who served the State under him with dignity and respect and always thanked them for their contributions to the development of the State. Out of office, Attah remains a role model and father figure who is loved, respected and honored by all who served the State under him. Can the same be said of Godswill Akpabio? No. Indeed enduring respect and honor are earned by those who are deserving. Akpabio erroneously thought that respect can be bought.

He must have learnt by now that the office of Governor is not permanent and you will not be respected just because you once were a governor who shared State resources to all and sundry to buy respect. People will respect you for your integrity, comportment honor and character. Godswill Akpabio as Governor consistently humiliated and denigrated Attah.
It is shocking that Akpabio will accuse Ememobong of disrespect because as State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, he is only 35. What has age got to do with someone performing the duties of his office? Is this not the same Godswill Akpabio who (with his wife) in 2014 insulted Buhari (a former Head of State and a man old enough to be his father) Did Akpabio not dismiss Buhari as an illiterate and a senile old man? If Akpabio has forgotten or is prepared to lie as is his wont, I can send him copies of the videos now trending on YouTube.

Out of desperation, Akpabio is now trying to play the ethnic card. This is a cheap act of desperation. Akpabio wanted to be the only cock in Annang land and even Akwa Ibom. Accordingly, he destroyed prominent Annang leaders (many of whom were his benefactors) like Atuekong Don Etiebet (lucky to be alive), late Ime Umana. late Albert Ukpana, late Okon Uwah, late Chief Fidelis Etim. Did Akpabio not dim the stars of bright upcoming Annang politicians like Hon. Uwem Udoma, Hon Ekperikpe Ekpo, Hon Pat Ineme etc.

The people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District have spoken. They rejected Akpabio because of his boastfulness and flawed character.
Sen. Godswill Akpabio is not indispensable. How does Akpabio failing his election a threat to the unity of the State? How is Mr. Ememobong by simply doing his work as PDP Publicity Secretary a threat to Akpabio and the Annang Nation? Is Akpabio more Annang than Christopher Ekpenyong, Ibok Essien, or even his cousin Prince Ukpong Akpabio- a serving commissioner in Udom Emmanuel’s administration?

As Governor Akpabio’s performance was grossly overrated against the background of the huge revenues of N3 trillion that accrued to the State between 2007 and 2015. His performance as Senator and Minority Leader was similarly mediocre with no record of outstanding leadership. How many bills of national consequence or significance did Akpabio sponsor in the Senate? His colleagues and constituents (including Emmanuel Enoidem) see Akpabio as a shameless coward and sycophant who cannot stand the heat and provide leadership when courage is required. If Obong Attah were such a coward how could he have led other distinguished Akwa Ibom sons and leaders like Sen. Udoma Udoma and Sen. Ibok Essien to win the 13 Percent Derivation battle for Akwa Ibom. The difference is that these distinguished leaders whose achievements changed the economic fortunes of Akwa Ibom have carried themselves with humility, decorum and dignity. Attah has not been boasting about his historic and monumental achievement of winning the 13 Percent battle. After Attah won the battle, Akpabio, the eternal opportunist came in to squander and waste the resources.

The truth is that Akpabio was promoted beyond his capacity and competence.
Will anybody in good conscience claim that Akpabio has created more impact in the Senate than a patriot like Senator Ibok Essien who served as Deputy Chief Whip. All those who are shedding crocodile tears because Akpabio lost an election should realize that Akwa Ibom State will thrive with or without Akpabio. There are still many leaders in the mould of Attah, Udoma and Ibok Essien who abound in this State. Nobody should write off the Senator-Elect for Akwa Ibom North East -Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong a former Deputy Governor and foundation member of the PDP who cut his business and political teeth at a time Akpabio was still roaming the streets of Lagos. Ekpeyong will do better than Akpabio who lacked real depth and substance and covered his weaknesses by being loud and lousy.

Former Governor, sitting senator and kidnapper cum Assassin-In-Chief, Mr Godswill Obot Akpabio has ordered the burning and attack on buses conveying sensitive electoral materials by Independence Electoral Commission (INEC) officials in Obot Akara on Saturday.
Akpabio who has been chanting war songs during the campaign season all through, as well as his most notorious violence-induced cliche ” Warsaw, saw war and war saw Warsaw.” is believed to be the mastermind of the dastardly act. An eye-witness, Joe Uko Idung, told our reporters.
The officials boarding the burnt cars sustained gruesome injuries and burns critical to their lives.
Senator Akpabio who decamped from the People Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC) as he was being hounded by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) for fraud and theft of money to the tune of N900 billion is trying to install an APC candidate, Mr. Nsima Ekere as governor, a man who was his Deputy Governor but forced to resign in 2012 when he was facing corruption, assassination and theft charges.Image may contain: one or more people, tree, sky, outdoor and natureImage may contain: 1 person, sitting
In the interim, the PDP has condemned the violent attack and blamed it on APC and Chief Godswill Akpabio for both incendiary comment and deliberate order given to hoodlums sympathetic to APC to launch the attack.
In a press statement signed by the State PDP Director, Public Communications, Divine Mandate Campaign Organization, Otuekong Emmanuel Ibiok said the attack is an attempt by Akpabio and his APC hatchetmen to portray Akwa Ibom State as a violent state in order to call for election postponement to enable them to bring in mobile policemen and military to take over the state during the election which will give room for intimidation and rigging.
“This action corroborates our earlier disclosure that the APC plans to sponsor violent criminal operations that could enable its poorly orchestrated script for postponing the elections in Akwa Ibom State,” Ibok said
Eleven buses hired by INEC in readiness for the postponed election of Saturday were all together touched by the APC hoodlums.

How Saraki Got to Control Buhari’s Kinsman, Lawal Daura #illuminatipolitics

I know a lot of you don’t know the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, beyond the media. He seems like a normal person, but if you’ve watched him closely, you would’ve noticed that he closes one eye too often. Why? Saraki is an Illuminati agent, and only a few people knew about this.
Those of us who knew Saraki’s Illuminati background are hardly shocked by how he outsmarted every politician from his father to President Buhari. Of course, it’s not ordinary. You don’t need any proof. You only need to study how he has maneuvered his ways to power over the years and managed to resist any gang-up.
After the 2015 elections, the CPC and ACN blocs of APC invited Saraki to a meeting. “We don’t want you as Senate President,” they said. Saraki paused as though to reflect, stood up gently, and chanted, “Novus Ordo Seclorum.” They froze. “What did you say?” Saraki asked.
“N-nothing, nothing,” they stammered. He nodded and smiled.
These CPC and ACN errand boys who met Saraki became his supporters from that night. Everyone in APC was shocked. Our journalists who had interviewed those men in the past couldn’t connect the dots. It didn’t make sense to them, that sudden support from his erstwhile political foes.
What Saraki did from that point was the move of an Illuminati master. He visited his senator friends one after the other to appeal to them to support him. All the ones he got to look at with one eye closed while chanting “Novus Ordo Seclorum,” ended up supporting him.
Saraki was always smooth. Once he identified a threat, he cast his Illuminati spell to neutralize it. It’s how he got his fellow senators to be submissive. However many of his colleagues know about his spiritual powers, and so they avoid his gaze. Guess who told them. Tinubu!
Tinubu too is an Illuminati agent, that’s why the war was tough for Saraki. Tinubu was always quick to reveal Saraki’s secret. It’s the reason Fashola and others didn’t look Saraki straight in the eyes when they were being screened as Ministers. They knew about his powers.
Why do you think Hamid Ali was avoiding the Senate? Why do you think the Inspector-General of Police was also afraid? Because they got scared when Tinubu told them about it. That’s also how Danladi Umar of CCT trial was neutralized. He was forming gangster until Saraki got him.
Supreme Court justices were the easiest for Saraki. He invited them for tea, one after the other, a day to the judgement in his asset declaration trial. He got to look into their eyes and took possession of their mind. The next day, they unanimously acquitted him of wrong-doing.
Now you also understand why Saraki often stared at Buhari, especially when they’re seated in the same row, either at an event or in the mosque. If he could get to our IGP and make him stutter “transmission of transmission” repeatedly before the camera, imagine what would’ve happened if the IG had met him face to face.
Since you yet make sense of how Saraki got Buhari’s kinsman, Lawal Daura, to do his bidding, this is how it happened. Unlike the Customs and Police bosses, the DSS boss was naive. He looked into Saraki’s eyes and lost control of himself. And the rest, as they say, is history.
If you believed this before you got here, I’ll advise you to first quietly mail your certificates back to the schools that offered them to you. You obviously don’t deserve them. Shebi you see that we all can write nonsense! 🙄

Goodwill Akpabio is doing what’s best for him personally. Yes, it’s all about his personal interest, that’s all. It has been said that he EMBEZZLED in excess of $2 BILLION from Akwa Ibom; and, with the DARK CLOUD of EEFC prosecution hanging around his THIEVING NECK, he has succumbed to Janjaweed Jihadist Buhari’s “TRUMP CARD”—a well-calculated political BLACKMAIL scheme.

You see, Jihadist Buhari has always had the CORRUPTION thing on AKPABIO. When he talked about having the government of Dubai seizing more $800 Million in stolen funds hidden away there by a former Nigerian governor, he was basically referring to Godswill Akpabio. Now, It’s quite conceivable that Akpabio will give up a good chunk of his LOOT to the A PC in exchange for freedom from EEFC prosecution for agreeing to decamp from PDP.

If Jihadist Buhari approves that arrangement, like he’s already expected to do, that’ll amount to nothing but a RE-LOOTONG OF STOLEN WEALTH—-MONEY THAT REALLY BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE OF AKWA IBOM STATE.

In fact, Janjaweed Buhari threatened to expose Akpabio earlier on in his presidency but cleverly chose to wait until this moment—-a time when he, Jihadist Buhari, fearing a real REJECTION by NIGERIANS, chose to rein in AKPABIO in a desperate move to cling on to power.

It was the MAJORITY IBIBIO who gave power to AKPABIO in Akwa Ibom, but he so rudely BETRAYED the IBIBIO after becoming governor. He supervised the MURDER of more than 300 IBIBIO CITIZENS.

That, we shall never forget. Not today, not in 100 years. Somebody must be held accountable at some point.

Bottom line, Gov. Udom Emmanuel DOES NOT NEED AKPABIO, period !!!

13 out of the 17 Local Government Chairmen, elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State, have decamped to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

This came barely 24-hours after the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, boasted that the APC was unshakeable in Benue State, despite Governor Samuel Ortom’s defection.

A total of 13 Local Government Chairmen and 276 Councillors attended the meeting, which was held at the new banquet hall of the Government House, in Makurdi, the State capital.

The Local Government Chairmen who defected are: Anthony Shawon (Guma), Justina Sorka (Buruku), Mwuese Ubebe (Konshisha), Blessing Unogwo (Ado Ado), Virginia Kpindi (Katsina-Ala), and George Alli (Otukpo).

Others are: Comfort Echeoda (Agatu), Francis Ayaga (Gwer west), Uaah Vitalis (Gwer east), Richard Nyajo (Logo), Ibellogo Tor (Tyokaa- Ukum), Adakole Abutu (Ohimini), and Peter Onche (Obi).

The PDP, is now the leading party in Benue State, since it controls two Senatorial Districts, 22 State Constituencies, over 13 Local Government Areas, and the Governorship seat.

I Leave Because My People Were Tired Of APC and Buhari’s Blood Govt. – Gov. Ortom

Finally, after much persuasion from the majority of the stakeholders in the state, Governor Samuel Ortom midweek took a rather bold political step by defecting from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after months of the protracted face-off with the leader of the party in the state. Suffice it to state here that the governor’s defection did not come as a huge surprise to pundits who have been following developments in the state, particularly since the beginning of the year when the killing spree by herdsmen in parts of the state took a worrisome dimension leading to the gruesome murder of over 500 innocent villagers in close to 18 of the 23 local government areas of the state. Gov. Ortom of Benue State

The overwhelmed governor and people of the state had no option but to cry out against the pogrom which saw the blood of innocent children, women including the pregnant and the elderly spewing from all nooks and crannies of the state. Indeed from the beginning of the year, aside from the Agatu genocide, Benue never experienced such horrifying indiscriminate and brutal attacks which all boiled down to the quest for the Benue valley by marauding herdsmen. The killings came on the heels of the Benue open grazing prohibition law that came into effect last November 1 which herdsmen through the leadership of their various socio-cultural organizations at several fora vowed to vehemently resist. And on the new year day, the unimaginable happened, the revolt by herdsmen commenced and Benue became a killing field. While the people and their leaders cried and wailed for help and assistance from the federal government to quell the crisis, those whose responsibilities it was to check the killings rather looked the other way.

Regrettably, human lives in the state were treated like a filthy rag that was meant for the gutters. The people daily buried their dead while many till date remained unaccounted for. Benue bled, the people sobbed and the federal government turned a deaf ear to their convulsive gasps. In fact, the defense minister attributed the killings to anti-grazing law and in what appeared to be a justification of the killings he asked what they wanted the herdsmen to do if their routes were blocked. President Buhari visited the state and begged the Benue people to “accommodate your brothers” in reference to the herdsmen.

In their litany of woes and the adamant refusal of the federal government to heed their cries, the people themselves demanded for a mass burial of the over 73 persons killed in the new year day massacre in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state to attract international attention to their plight. The Ortom led administration was left with no option but to concede to the demand of the people and a mass burial was organized for the identified victims of that massacre on January 11, which obviously did not go down well with the powerful forces in Abuja. That event and the subsequent outburst by the people and government of the state over series of killings that followed, in several communities marked the beginning of the end of Governor Ortom’s romance and political journey with the All Progressives Congress, APC, controlled federal government and powerful forces in Abuja. In fact, it was reliably gathered that on several occasions, the Governor was cautioned by these forces to keep quiet over the killings but he chose to keep crying even when these forces on several instances tried to justify the massacre in the Benue valley which the Defence Minister Brig. Gen. Mansur Dan-Ali (Rtd) blamed on the grazing law and blockage of cattle routes in the country.

Dan-Ali outburst left the people with the conviction that the APC controlled federal government was complicit in their killings and continuous neglect. At a particular instance, the governor said “I was told to stop talking and crying but how can I stop crying when my people are being killed on a daily basis? “I obviously cannot stop shouting and crying until the killings are stopped and my people get Justice, anything short of that will not stop me from crying out.” Curiously, from that point Governor Ortom fell out of favour with the APC led federal government and a desperate search for his replacement as the gubernatorial flag bearer of the APC in the coming general elections commenced but luckily the governor got wind of the plot and also put machinery in motion to outsmart his persecutors. And finally, Governor Ortom pulled a surprise, he dumped the APC and pitched the tent with his former party the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, less than 24 hours after 37 House of Representatives members and 14 senators defected from the ruling party. His action left his former party rattled.

A critical look at the chances of Governor Ortom picking the governorship ticket of his new party and emerging victorious at the general election and the implication of the convulsion of the APC on the chances of President Muhammadu Buhari still having a firm grip on the north and the expected votes from the zone clearly showed that the APC has run into troubled waters that could eventually trigger its Waterloo if its leaders fail to make hay while the sun shines and that is if that window is still open. In his reaction, a former Minister of State for Education, Prof. Jetty Agada said, as regards Ortom’s chances in PDP, if you saw the way that man has actually stood his ground against the killings in our state you will know that it will give him an advantage in any party he joins. “On President Buhari still having a grip on the North, the fact is that there is a way that man handles his political matters. It seems to me that he looks at himself as the only person who knows everything, while he looks at others as people who do not know what they are doing.
“If not, right from the time people started talking of these defections, at least some measures would have been taken to avert them, but most of the time he was behaving as if it does not concern him, it was the same kind of behavior he put up when they were electing the leadership of the National Assembly earlier in the life of his administration.
“He thinks because people were saying he is a man of integrity he does not think there is the need to do more to be able to maintain that integrity.” On his part, the Convener of the Middle Belt Movement for Justice and Peace, MBMJP, Joe Bukka said “if you recall, when we spoke some weeks back I told you that Governor Ortom cannot actualize a second term in office on the platform of APC if he remained in that party. “I strongly feel that his defection was the right move because the majority of Benue people had urged him to do so and they cannot, at this time, abandon a man who gave his all, risking his life and office to stand for his people. “If Benue people fail to stand for Ortom at this critical time it will mean an aberration to fight in defence of your people. On the chances of President Buhari still having a firm grip on the North after the defections, Bukka said, “unfortunately, the inability of the President to shed his military mentality has become his albatross.

“Nigerians believed in him but he has lost it all, more Nigerians are poorer today as compared to when he assumed office. Herdsmen have continually threatened the cooperate unity of this country and he chose to remain mute. “The fact is that the North Central will not be for him, his support base in the far North is currently divided and even the entire South is pained by the look warm attitude of the presidency to herdsmen killings across the country.

In fact, it will take more than a miracle to have Buhari win another term in office. Also speaking, a former Youth Leader of the APC in Benue South District and former Special Assistant to Governor Ortom on Youth Mobilization and Integration, Anthony Adah who resigned his position last September said the APC had failed Nigerians. “It will interest you to know that I resigned from the APC last September 25th., not because of my former boss Governor Ortom but because of the failure of the APC.

“And as regards what is happening now, based on the cases of defections in the National Assembly, it will certainly affect Buhari negatively. “The reason it would affect him is before now, we thought that Buhari was a saint. Buhari was packaged and sold to us and we innocently believed in what was sold to us. “Even his northern brothers didn’t know exactly the kind of person he was especially this new generation who are not as old as those of us who knew him as a military dictator. “Now before he emerged, we all keyed into the packaging and felt that he was the messiah but today, even the northerners are aware that he is running a bad government. “Buhari is the reason APC will fail in 2019.

The whole of Nigeria is aware that Buhari is a fluke. As it concerns Benue, there is no way any Benue man can vote Buhari. Look at our brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers who have lost their lives all in the quest to acquire land for grazing. “And as it concerns Governor Ortom, he has come out to tell us the reasons he has been failing the state. As far as I’m concerned, we have some months to put him under probation to see whether he is telling us the truth or not.

“If Governor Ortom does the needful as it stands today, we will see truly that the man did not tell us lies and that he was under duress. “And if in the next couple of months he is able to correct his shortcomings we will then know that the man was not lying and as such we will give him a soft landing in 2019 and support him to victory.”

The fact that APC members in Akwa Ibom State are trying to lure Senator Godswill Akpabio to their fold has further strengthened my position that the APC and the PDP are one and the same.

It is an insult to the people of Akwa Ibom State for Mr. Hilliard Etta, the APC National Vice Chairman South-South, to ask Akpabio to decamp from the PDP and join APC while asking Governor Udom Emmanuel to account for the money of the State.

Has Akpabio accounted for the trillions he received and mismanaged? Mr. Etta should be ashamed of himself.

Akpabio is the greatest tragedy that has happened to Akwa Ibom State since its creation in 1987. I find it highly reckless for APC to now be enticing the very man who supervised one of the most violent and fraudulent elections ever witnessed in the history of the Akwa Ibom State.

My opinion about the leadership of Mr. Udom Emmanuel is not hidden. However, it is provocative for those who parade themselves as Change Agents to be singing the praises of Akpabio while attacking the very governor that Akpabio imposed on the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The desperation to capture power is driving people insane. You cannot praise Akpabio and attack Udom at the same time. Politicians should exude a modicum of decency.

Under Akpabio, atrocities and criminality were elevated to state policies. Political assassination, cultism, tribalism and massive corruption are evils which were watered by the murderous regime of Akpabio. That is the same person that the APC in Akwa Ibom State is shamelessly luring to join them.

If Akpabio fights with Udom Emmanuel, it is clearly inconsequential to some of us. They can strangle themselves. Heaven will not fall. Akpabio does not have the moral right to complain about whatever misdeeds are taking place under his successor. He sowed a seed and should reap its fruit.

Obviously, the only thing that is important to the APC in Akwa Ibom State today is power. They want to capture power. That is all that matters to them. That is why they are not engaging the State government on policies and issues. It is about political power and politics and nothing more.

It is indeed a shame.
